Ahead of the Cincinnati Bengals’ NFL Week 12 game against the New England Patriots at Paycor Stadium, Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase has missed just five games since the team made him a first-round draft pick in 2021.
He’s missing his sixth career game as he serves a one-game suspension for spitting on Steelers defensive back Jalen Ramsey during the Bengals’ Week 11 loss in Pittsburgh.

Chase played all 17 games of his rookie season.
Chase missed four games during his second season, in 2022. He limped off the field after a huge first half in Week 7 against the Atlanta Falcons, having aggravated a hip injury he suffered one week earlier.
In 2023, Chase didn’t play in the Bengals’ 34-11 loss in Pittsburgh in December. He had suffered a shoulder injury late in the fourth quarter of a win against the Minnesota Vikings the previous week.
Chase played in every game in 2024 on his way to a receiving triple crown, the first in Bengals’ history.
He has 861 receiving yards on 79 catches with five touchdowns through the Bengals’ first 10 games of the 2025 season.
