As an Investment Officer you will be responsible for assisting the Investment Manager with the following:
·The preparation and day to day management of the overhead budget
·Manage procurement and invoice approval relating to this budget
·Assist with the tracking, spending and returns against UK/I investments following input from the Investment Manager.
·Assist with the management of the investment requests
·Assist with management of investment RAID logs
·Assist with tracking investments, including oversight of specific investments as assigned by the Investment Manager
You will assist with developing strategies for managing the portfolio of investments across the department, including day to day ownership of specific investments, assigned by the investment manager, working closely with the Investment Manager, to ensure expenditure is monitored closely and kept on-track and RAID issues are logged
You will participate in regular review calls with the necessary stakeholders, including our internal Finance department, to provide evidence and assurance that our budgets are maintained and on target.
The Investment Officer will be able to assist with how to monitor, track and evidence our expenditure in the most efficient and understandable way.

Key Responsibilities
·Assist in the preparation and management of the day to day spend on the overhead budget, inc liaising with key stakeholders on anticipated spend
·Assist in the management of the procurement and invoice approval relating to both the people and non-people related budget
·Assist with the tracking of spend and return against investments on headcount budget
·Participate in regular meetings with the Heads of Products to assess expenditure and returns against target per investment
·Work closely with the Investment Manager to review and evidence expenditure
·Advise key stakeholders on when savings need to be made or where they could be made
·Maintain RAID log for investments
·Assist in preparation of reports for internal and executive level meetings to review investment progress
·Build strong working relationships with stakeholders, including our Finance department
·Participate fully in our end of year budgeting process
Participate in regular review meetings with Finance, Director of Products and Delivery and Head of Delivery to monitor budgets
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
·You must have a related degree or proven experience in a similar role, preferably both
·You will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic that can work with limited supervision.
·You will need to be a skilled problem solver; a key requirement for this role is being able to deconstruct problems into constituent parts to come to the best solution.
·Excellent numerical skills are essential
·Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are also a requirement.
·Being focused and accurate, you will need to have a data driven approach
·You will have an open and expansive approach, willing and able to interact internally and externally and at all levels within the company.
·You will show a highly committed attitude.
