Jimmy Butler shares Batman themed IG post after Warriors Game 3 win

Jimmy Butler didn’t waste much time chiming in on Instagram following the Golden State Warriors’ win over the Houston Rockets on Saturday night in Game 3 at Chase Center. While Butler was sidelined on Saturday due to a pelvic contusion, the star forward praised his team on Instagram, especially Steph Curry, aka “Batman.”

After calling Curry Batman following Golden State’s win over the Memphis Grizzlies in the play-in tournament, Butler made another Caped Crusader reference on Saturday night.

Following the Warriors’ 104-93 win in Game 3, Butler shared a photo of the iconic “bat signal.” Yet, instead of the Batman logo, Curry’s Curry Brand signature logo was in the signal.

Along with praising Curry and the Warriors, Butler jokingly took another shot at his teammate, Buddy Hield. In the caption, Butler said, “thanks batman and team. excluding buddy.”

Since joining the Warriors, Butler and Hield have had a hilarious back and forth. Butler recently complained about Hield dribbling the ball while Hield called Butler’s triple-double from the regular season, “fake.”

Buter suffered a pelvis injury after a hard fall to the floor in the first quarter of Wednesday’s Game 2 in Houston. Butler was ruled out of Saturday’s game with a left pelvic contusion. The veteran wing will get Sunday off before the Warriors return to Chase Center to host the Rockets for Game 4 on Monday.
