The Los Angeles Lakers badly need to get back on track after three straight losses and seven defeats in their last 10 games. On Wednesday, they will have the opportunity to do so when they visit the Indiana Pacers in the second contest of a four-game road trip.
The Pacers are on the other end of the momentum spectrum with five straight wins and seven wins in their last eight games. They hold fourth place in the Eastern Conference with a 42-29 record, while L.A. has slipped to fifth place in the Western Conference with a 43-28 mark.
This will be the first game of a back-to-back set for the Lakers. They will head across state lines to face the Chicago Bulls, a team that steamrolled them on Saturday, on Thursday.
