Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is no stranger to meeting legendary celebrities, but his latest encounter with a professional ‘footballer’ may have been his coolest experience of the 2025 offseason to date.
This week, Mahomes met and swapped jerseys with Inter Miami star Lionel Messi, who is widely considered to be one of the best professional soccer players currently competing in the MLS.
Messi, now 37 years old, joined Inter in 2023 after a prolific career in Europe, where he played for Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain from 2003 to 2021 and 2021 until 2023, respectively.
