Mahomes, Rice connect for TD early in Week 7

The Kansas City Chiefs wasted no time scoring points in their Week 7 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.

After the Chiefs’ defense stopped the Raiders on Las Vegas’ first possession, quarterback Patrick Mahomes took the field and marched Kansas City’s offense down the field with ease.

A nine-play, 92-yard drive, which included two impressive catches by star tight end Travis Kelce, culminated in a touchdown when Mahomes found wide receiver Rashee Rice for a passing touchdown in the game’s first frame.

Take a look at this video of Rice’s outstanding scoring play, which was posted to Twitter by the Chiefs’ official account:

Head coach Andy Reid was clearly keen to get Rice involved in the passing game early this week, and should continue to give the former SMU Mustang playing time in his first game back from suspension.

Fans should expect Rice to be one of Mahomes’ top targets against the Raiders as the Chiefs look to advance their record past the .500 mark for the first time this season.
