This will be the first-ever UCI Cross-country Olympic (XCO) and UCI Cross-country Short Track (XCC) World Cup events in Asia, as well as the continent’s first UCI Downhill (DHI) World Cup in some 25 years.
Moreover, in the US, Soldier Hollow in Midway, Utah, will host the XCO and XCC events during the North American leg of the 2026 series.
It’s a site that previously demonstrated its mountain biking capabilities by staging the 2024 Pan American Mountain Bike Championships.

It’s also a renowned winter sports location, scheduled to hold events during the Salt Lake City-Utah 2034 Olympic Winter Games.

The dates for the UCI World Cup events in South Korea and the US will be announced in the coming weeks, as part of the full 2026 WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series.
