NFC playoff picture: Bears fall to final wild card as Rams are No. 1

The NFC playoff race is heating up. The Chicago Bears, who were in the No. 1 seed a week ago, tumbled all the way to the final wild card spot. The Los Angeles Rams are back on top of the conference, and the Green Bay Packers now lead the NFC North.

NFC playoff picture, Week 15

1. Los Angeles Rams, 10-3 (5-3 conference)

2. Green Bay Packers, 9-3-1 (7-2-1 conference)

6. San Francisco 49ers, 9-4 (8-2 conference)

7. Chicago Bears, 9-4 (6-3 conference)

The Detroit Lions (8-5), Carolina Panthers (7-6) and Dallas Cowboys (6-6-1) remain in the mix.

What happened in Week 14?

The Lions made things tough for the Cowboys, beating them 44-30 on Thursday.

The Seahawks dismantled the Atlanta Falcons 37-9 in Atlanta.

The Bucs lost 24-20 at home to the New Orleans Saints. They now have the same record as the Panthers and will face them twice before the end of the year.

The Rams rolled over the Arizona Cardinals 45-17 in Arizona.

The Packers knocked off the Bears 28-21 to take over the NFC North lead.

The Eagles lost on Monday night 22-19 to the Los Angeles Chargers.

Key Week 15 games for NFC playoff picture

The week starts off with the Buccaneers hosting the Falcons on Thursday night.

The Bears are at home against the 3-10 Cleveland Browns.

The Eagles host the 2-11 Las Vegas Raiders.

The Packers face the 11-2 Denver Broncos on the road.

The Rams and Lions battle in L.A.

The Panthers will face the 3-10 Saints on the road.

The Seahawks host the 8-5 Indianapolis Colts, who now are scrambling at quarterback with Daniel Jones out for the season with a torn Achilles.

The 49ers will be at home against the 2-11 Tennessee Titans.

The Cowboys host the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football.
