Ohio State player showed bad sportsmanship in Tennessee handshake line

Ohio State Buckeyes forward Cotie McMahon was plenty spicy after the 4-seed Buckeyes lost to the 5-seed Tennessee Volunteers.

On Sunday, Ohio State and Tennessee went back and forth, erasing leads and dropping so many huge shots all over the court. McMahon, who had 17 points, and teammate Jaloni Cambridge carried the torch while trying to hold off four Volunteers in double figures, including guard Talaysia Cooper, who tied Cambridge with a game-high 19 points. Ultimately, it wasn’t enough, as the Vols pulled away in the fourth quarter, securing an 82-67 March Madness win to push them into the Sweet 16.

Postgame, McMahaon was still seemingly fired up about the loss, and fans caught an awkward moment between her and Tennessee coach Kim Caldwell during a handshake line. Caldwell went to shake McMahon’s hand, but McMahon seemingly tapped it and walked away, stunning Caldwell. Some crafty internet lip-readers believe McMahon may have said a four-letter NSFW word as she moved down the line.

However, that wasn’t the end for the Ohio State forward. Fans also believe she possibly said more NSFW words ― “That’s [expletive] [expletive].” ― as she exited the court.
