Role Description
Are you a passionate QA professional looking to make a real impact in the telecom and IT sectors? Then this might be the perfect role for you! We are looking for a skilled QA Team Lead to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of test planning, execution, and quality assurance for complex telecom systems.
- Plan, organize, and control various types of testing: functional, integration, acceptance, regression, and performance
- Responsible for quality control of deliverables and coordinate the defect management lifecycle
- Prepare and share regular progress reports on testing activities
- Monitor daily progress, assess risks, and escalate critical blockers to ensure timely resolution
- Ensure complete business requirements coverage and proactively identify quality improvement opportunities
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for enhanced efficiency
- Foster team stability and resilience in high-pressure situations
- Help define and maintain internal QA processes and best practices
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in both manual and automated testing (Java)
- Experience creating test strategies, test cases, and test plans
- Understanding of integration testing and automation tools
- At least 2 years of experience in IT and telecom, working with billing systems and BSS/OSS solutions
- Familiarity with billing, rating, CRM, and product management processes
- Understanding of the architecture of billing systems, including interfaces, modules, APIs, and integrations
- Good command of SQL and ability to write queries for data validation
- Proficient with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and test management systems
- Familiarity with database basics
- Experience with REST and SOAP APIs
- Understanding of the full software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum/Waterfall methodologies
- Proven experience leading QA teams and working on complex transformation projects
- Experience in participating in large-scale transformation projects
