We are seeking an RFP Writer with these same qualities to provide instructional and program design expertise for the development and support of new system learning courses delivered via independent learning methods and instructor-led classes in providing unique solutions to our clients.

Must be eligible to work in the United States. No sponsorships are available currently.

RFP is a form of government procurement that solicits goods or services from the vendor community. We are looking for a resource that has experience in developing RFPs for State government. Responding to procurements and solicitations as in developing proposals in response to solicitations is not the skill we are looking for.

Requirements

 

Experience needed includes:

Writing RFP sections/narratives, identifying (through research or working with the client staff) requirements, deliverables, and SLAs

Strong writing skills: succinct, cohesive and clear writing that requires minimal, if any, editing. 

Writer will also be expected to:

Perform market research for how other states approached similar procurements

Develop briefs on various issue areas related to the procurement

Develop meeting materials with clients to elicit RFP requirements, etc.

Experience writing procurements for Medicaid Systems, Programs and/or Exchanges is preferred. Knowledge of Medicaid programs is preferred

  

  1. Example writeup from past projects       is required with resume submission.
  2. Travel: as needed to Albany, NY
  3. Time commitment: full time (40 hours/week)
  4. Tentative start date: July/August 2025
  5. Project duration: 10-12 months\

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions: An employee must meet these physical demands to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee is regularly required to talk or hear, sit, stand, and utilize technology tools such as a laptop computer for extended periods of time. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
