Both Artem Dovbyk and Stephan El Shaarawy are expected to start on the bench despite being available for Roma, meaning Eldor Shomurodov is set to lead the line against Verona.
Kick-off is scheduled for 20:45 CET (18:45 GMT) at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
Coach Claudio Ranieri looks set to deploy Matias Soulé and Lorenzo Pellegrini in support of the striker for a match that could see the Giallorossi climb to fifth place in Serie A, level on points with Bologna, should they claim a win.

Both La Gazzetta dello Sport and Sky Sport Italia report that Zeki Celik is expected to play as the right centre-back, with Gianluca Mancini and Evan N’Dicka completing the back three, replicating the setup from their recent 1-1 draw against Lazio.
Apart from Dovbyk’s absence, Ranieri is likely to confirm the same lineup from the previous outing, with Manu Koné and Leandro Paredes paired in central midfield.
Casper Tengstedt is the only confirmed absentee for Paolo Zanetti, although Amin Sarr could also be left out of the starting XI due to recent fitness concerns, with Dailon Livramento and Daniel Mosquera expected to lead the attack.
