Steelers’ Aaron Rodgers can make history with Week 8 win over Packers

Aaron Rodgers could make history in 2025 — and not just because he could surpass Steelers legend Ben Roethlisberger in all-time passing yards.

If Rodgers can lead the Steelers to victory over the Packers in Week 8, he will join legends Brett Favre, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, and Peyton Manning as the only QBs to defeat all 32 NFL teams.

Favre became the first QB to accomplish this impressive feat by leading the Vikings to victory over his former Packers in 2009. It would be five years until another signal-caller could join Favre — and Manning did so when the Broncos defeated his former Colts in 2014.

Brees took a different approach — as he defeated New Orleans while he was a Charger and would proceed to beat every other team as a member of the Saints, joining the list with a victory over the Ravens in 2018. The G.O.A.T would follow soon after — as the Brady-led Buccaneers defeated his former Patriots in 2021.

As the Packers QB, Rodgers defeated the other 31 NFL teams, but hasn’t gotten the opportunity until 2025 to play against Green Bay.

While Rodgers is surely a guaranteed first-ballot Hall of Famer, will he be able to add another feather in his cap when he faces off against the young signal-caller who replaced him — Packers QB Jordan Love?
