Perry jokingly pretended to faint, saying, “If Katy lays on the table, I think I’m going to pass out.” Perry then quipped, “Honey, you been laying on the table too much.”
Later that year, both Perry and Lionel Richie were missing from an episode due to their involvement in King Charles III’s coronation concert. The show enlisted Alanis Morissette and Ed Sheeran as guest judges to fill in for them.
