The South East Asian organization, headquartered in Singapore, boasts a passionate and talented roster that is making waves in the competitive scene.

Early Formation and Initial Success (2022-2023):

Bleed entered the Dota 2 arena in December 2022 with a roster featuring JaCkky, Kordan, Masaros, PlayHard-, and DuBu, guided by coach Forev. The team quickly found success, securing their first major triumph at the M. Invitational 2023 tournament. This early victory showcased their potential and laid the groundwork for further achievements.

Building on their momentum, Bleed dominated the DPC SEA 2023 Tour 3: Division I, solidifying their position as a top contender in the region. However, their journey toward tier-1 glory proved challenging. While they secured victories in regional tournaments, attempts to qualify for major events like ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, ESL One Birmingham 2024, and DreamLeague Season 22 were unsuccessful.

Bleed Esports Roster Shifts and Continued Growth (2023-Present):

Bleed Esports has undergone several roster changes throughout its journey. In March 2023, the arrival of veteran players iceiceice and DJ marked a significant shift. These experienced additions bolstered the team’s strength and brought valuable leadership to the table. However, further adjustments were made throughout the year, with PlayHard- and Masaros departing, and coaches Forev and MISERY taking turns guiding the team.

Despite the changes, Bleed continued to show promise. The team secured a respectable 13-14th place finish at the prestigious Bali Major 2023, demonstrating their ability to compete at the highest level. Recently, in December 2023, Bleed bid farewell to Taiga and transitioned iceiceice to a content creator role, welcoming Masaros back to the active roster.

Current Roster and Future Prospects :

As of March 2024, Bleed Esports boasts the following roster:

  • JaCkky (Carry)
  • Mikoto (Mid)
  • Zeal (Offlane)
  • Poloson (Support)
  • DJ (Support)

The team is under the guidance of coach MISERY, who brings extensive experience and strategic expertise to the table. With a blend of young talent and veteran leadership, Bleed Esports possesses the potential to continue its upward trajectory and challenge established powerhouses in the Dota 2 scene.

Looking Ahead:

Bleed Esports has established itself as a team to watch in the Dota 2 landscape. Their dedication, strategic vision, and continuous improvement have allowed them to carve their niche in the competitive scene. As they continue to refine their strategies and gain experience from seasoned veterans like iceiceice, Bleed Esports has the potential to become a major force in the Dota 2 world, not just within their region but on the global stage.

Dragon Ball Super Trading Card Game: Fusion World Beta-Test Adventure https://news.yogabicep.com/dragon-ball-super-trading-card-game-fusion-world-beta-test-adventure/ https://news.yogabicep.com/dragon-ball-super-trading-card-game-fusion-world-beta-test-adventure/#respond Thu, 08 Feb 2024 11:25:04 +0000 https://news.yogabicep.com/?p=41 Over the weekend, my partner and I had an exhilarating opportunity to take part in a beta-test event for the forthcoming Dragon Ball Super Trading Card Game (DBSCG) series called “Fusion World.” Hosted by Dragon Eye Gaming (DEG) at the Paramus Park Mall, we received demo decks comprising 30 cards each and a single-player playmat, initiating our foray into the game.

These demo decks showcased alternative artwork from the cards slated for use upon the game’s official release. While some attendees expressed disappointment over the inability to use these alternative decks post-launch, I regarded it as a card collector’s dream to possess the beta-test version of the game.

For those unfamiliar, most trading card games typically involve decks of 60 cards. However, for this event, we were provided with decks of only 30 cards to familiarize ourselves with the gameplay. My partner selected a demo deck centered around the Saiyan prince, Vegeta, while I opted for the beloved hero, Goku.

The objective of “Fusion World,” akin to other games, is to deplete your opponent’s life. Each player starts with eight “life cards,” aiming to utilize their leader, battle cards (supporting characters), and extra cards (special moves) to eliminate all eight of the opponent’s life cards. Exhausting your life cards results in defeat.

During our hour at the event, we engaged in several rounds of gameplay, relishing the sight of beloved characters clashing in battle. I was particularly thrilled to discover that my deck featured my favorite Dragon Ball character, Android 17. Despite my enthusiasm, I ended up losing both rounds, though each match was closely contested, with my partner and I being reduced to just a few remaining life cards.

Overall, it was a delightful experience, and upon conclusion, we received an additional demo deck for completing a survey, granting us a total of two decks comprising 60 cards each to enjoy at home. However, our time with these decks may be limited, as the official release of DBSCG “Fusion World” is just a few weeks away.

On my birthday, Feb. 16, DBSCG will launch four “Fusion World” starter decks simultaneously, featuring Goku, Vegeta, Broly, and Frieza. My partner and I are considering acquiring all four, making it a special birthday gift for me.

Additionally, the first booster pack, “Awakened Pulse,” is slated for release on Feb. 23, providing players with the opportunity to enhance their decks or collect rare cards. Furthermore, around the same time, the digital version of the card game will be introduced, featuring animated character performances as players compete with opponents worldwide.

Participating in this event felt like an authentic introduction to the game’s release process, and visiting DEG was an added bonus, as I had never visited before. The store ambiance, adorned with banners and flags showcasing various trading card games like “One Piece” and “Pokémon,” along with shelves lined with Pop figurines, made for a memorable experience. My personal highlight was spotting a collection of eeveelutions, different forms of the Pokémon Eevee, perched on a high shelf behind the counter, overseeing the store.

I eagerly anticipate the full release of the game and the chance to challenge my partner to a rematch… in the game, of course. With the introduction of new characters, such as Broly and Frieza, I’m particularly intrigued to see their respective decks in action. Overall, I highly recommend giving this game a try, especially to those already familiar with trading card games. While my background mainly revolves around the Pokémon trading card game, I’m excited to potentially add DBSCG to my list of favorites.
