Breaking down the Brewers’ Game 2 loss to the Dodgers in the NLCS

The Milwaukee Brewers are going back to the well for Game 3.
For the third time this postseason, left-hander Aaron Ashby will start a game as an opener, this time with his team down, 2-0, to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series.
Ashby has now pitched in all eight of the Brewers’ playoff games except one: Game 3 of the NL Division Series against the Chicago Cubs.
Ashby has a 4.26 earned run average this postseason but has allowed an earned run in only one of his five outings. His command, however, has been spotty, with five walks issued in 6⅔ innings.
Opposing Ashby will be another traditional, highly compenstated starting pitcher for the Dodgers, right-hander Tyler Glasnow.
The 32-year-old had a 3.19 ERA in 18 starts for the Dodgers this year. He’s made one start in the playoffs and pitched six shutout innings in Game 4 of the NLDS against the Philadelphia Phillies with eight strikeouts and two hits allowed.
