Lincoln-Sudbury softball pushes win streak to 5 by beating Hopkinton
Lincoln-Sudbury started its bats working early and strung together enough hits and runs to take down Hopkinton on the road.

Kelsey Blanchette, Lincoln-Sudbury
In addition to collecting her 100th career hit, the senior went 2-for-4 on Sunday, scored four runs, drove in three and hit a pair of doubles. She also scored three times in a win over Wayland on Thursday.
Kira DeBaggis, Nipmuc
The junior drove in two runs and had a double against Douglas on Wednesday before going 4-for-5 against Blackstone Valley Tech the next day.
Hailey DeVincent, Marlborough
The sophomore doubled twice and drove in four runs for the Panthers in a win over Fitchburg last Monday.
Allyson Fagan, Medway
The junior pitcher paced the Mustangs to a 2-1 week with a .615 average (8-for-13) with two doubles and a triple, and earned wins on consecutive days over Dedham and Medfield (5 ER, 8 Ks) in which she threw 279 pitches. Fagan went 4-for-5 against Dedham.
Madelyn Glynn, AMSA
In the Eagles’ lone game of the week, the junior scored three runs, drove in two and went 3-for-4.
Brooke Gniadek, Blackstone Valley Tech
The junior went 6-for-8 for the week, including a four-hit performance against Auburn on Wednesday where she also had two RBI. Gniadek had two more hits, one of them a home run, on Thursday against Nipmuc.
Layden MacDonald, Hopedale
The senior drove in three runs and went 2-for-3 against Blackstone-Millville on Wednesday. The next day against Oxford, MacDonald went 3-for-4 and drove in a pair of runs.
Neila Schweizer, Tri-County
She connected for three doubles in a win over Diman on Monday. Two days later, Schweizer hit the game-winning homer in the 10th and went 2-for-4.
Mariah Sousa, Assabet
The junior was 4-for-4 in a win over Leicester.
Addy Walls, Hopkinton
The sophomore fanned 15 batters and went 4-for-5 in a win over Medway.
