Ten ESPN NFL analysts recently put their minds together to compile a top-100 players list which predicts who will be the league’s best players in 2025.
One (of only two) Buffalo Bills player that made the list is 31-year-old offensive tackle Dion Dawkins. Holding down MVP Josh Allen’s blindside in pass protection and mauling the opposition in the run game, Dawkins has been a mainstay on the Bills offensive line since 2017. He has started 136 games for the Bills in his eight years, with 14 coming in the playoffs, and has made four-straight Pro Bowls.
According to ESPN, the veteran is only getting started. After not making the list in 2024, Dawkins comes in at number 76 for 2025, with only six offensive tackles being ranked above him.
Dawkins enters the 2025 NFL season as one of the better tackles in the game. He’s a major piece to the puzzle that is the Bills offense, which scored 30 points per game and produced the league’s MVP.
Check out what ESPN said about Dawkins below:
Dawkins is receiving some deserved recognition as of late, leading an offensive line that allowed the fewest sacks (14) in the NFL last season and had the fourth-best pass block win rate (68.4%). One of the longest-tenured Bills, the starting left tackle is also the model of availability, missing only three games since being drafted in 2017. — Alaina Getzenberg
Signature stat: Dawkins is one of four offensive linemen to make the Pro Bowl in each of the past four seasons, along with Joel Bitonio, Quenton Nelson and Tristan Wirfs.
