Which player does Mel Kiper have tumbling down to the Commanders at 29?

ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. presented his final mock draft (4.0) Monday, drawing much interest.

Kiper has never claimed to be omniscient, yet it is indisputable that Mel Kiper has changed how television follows the draft and how NFL fans look forward to it each April. But being human, he, like the rest of us, is subject to error.

In this particular final mock draft, Kiper has the Washington Commanders at No. 29 selecting Texas A&M defensive end Shemar Stewart. Stewart is a player who tested out of this world in his shorts and t-shirt. However, the mystery about Stewart is why is a player so physically gifted was so unproductive in his college career. Thus, he is falling in the eyes of many draft analysts.

If you are wondering, yes, the Commanders seem to need an edge rusher. Still, Kiper has the Detroit Lions at No. 28, one pick before the Commanders, selecting Boston College edge rusher Donovan Ezeiruaku, a player that Logan Paulsen has mentioned that he feels could be a good fit for the Commanders at No. 29.
