Week 1 of the 2025 college football season continues Saturday. 13 SEC teams will be in action Saturday, including Tennessee.
The Vols will open their season versus Syracuse in the Aflac Kickoff Game. The nonconference matchup will be contested at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia (noon EDT, ABC).
Two SEC schools have already played in Week 1. On Thursday, Missouri defeated Central Arkansas, 61-6, at Memorial Stadium in Columbia, Missouri. Auburn was also victorious, 38-24, at Baylor on Friday.
One game involving a SEC team will be contested on Sunday. South Carolina will face Virginia Tech at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Ahead of Saturday’s games, Nolan Analytics released score predictions for SEC contests. The Vols are projected to defeat Syracuse, 35-19.
