Yash is currently gearing up for the release of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, directed by Geetu Mohandas. Ahead of the film’s release on August 26, 2026, producer Dil Raju, who is distributing the movie, has opened up about the possibility of collaborating with the Rocking Star.
Yash and Game Changer producer Dil Raju join hands?
Speaking at the Toxic pre-release event in Hyderabad, Dil Raju was asked whether he would ever produce a film with Yash in Telugu. In response, the producer revealed that a collaboration between them is indeed on the cards, expressing excitement about the potential project.
However, Dil Raju added that he is unsure when the film will materialise due to Yash’s busy schedule. He nevertheless confirmed that they intend to work together when the timing is right.

The trailer for Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups introduces Yash as Raya, a wild and unpredictable man who appears to have little regard for the consequences of his actions. Driven by his ambition to rule, he leaves heartbreak in his wake while remaining loyal to no one. His growing influence and the hatred surrounding him eventually descend into chaos, with his biggest threat seemingly coming from his own son, Ticket.
Alongside Yash, the film features Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, and Rukmini Vasanth. Akshay Oberoi, Sudev Nair, Amit Tiwari, and several others also play key roles.
Featuring striking visuals, explosive action, layered characters, and intense relationships, the Kannada-English bilingual will also be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.
Ravi Basrur has composed the background score, while international action choreographer JJ Perry and the Anbariv duo have handled the stunt choreography.
Toxic was initially scheduled to release in theatres on March 19, 2026, before being postponed to June 4. The release was later pushed to August 2026 to secure a more favourable worldwide release window.
Yash’s next film
Yash is next set to star in the mythological epic Ramayana, alongside Ranbir Kapoor, with Nitesh Tiwari at the helm. The two-part film is scheduled to release during Diwali in 2026 and 2027, respectively.
