’Tis the season for giving, and the Texas A&M basketball team is fresh off delivering the East Texas Lions a dominant 41-point loss that also tied a program record for the most 100-point games in a single season at five. After that performance, the basketball team deserved a little time to kick back and enjoy some Christmas shopping.
Not only did we get to see the team debate which presents to add to their Christmas list, but we also got to witness some elite—and some not-so-elite—gift-wrapping skills. Being a student-athlete is tough, and not everyone is making six figures in NIL deals, so getting a break to relax and enjoy the company of friends and family is a great reset before they gear up for SEC play in January. Texas A&M will host the Prairie View A&M Panthers on Monday, December 29, at 9 p.m. CT. The game will air on SEC Network+.
