Brad Brownell emphasizes poor decision making against NC State

Brad Brownell and the Clemson Basketball team just came off their best win of the season against an ACC undefeated Miami Saturday, but the happiness was short lived due to an 80-76 overtime loss.

The Tigers were ice cold on the floor Jestin Porter and Dillon Hunter were a combined five for twenty two from the field and If you were to take out RJ Godfrey’s seven for nine , the Tigers shot 38.8 percent from the field. Brownell had some words to say about that.

“Shooting percentages were okay, we took a couple of bad threes.

Then he took a deeper dive into Jestin Porters performance on the day.

“I thought JP (Jestin Porter) had a few shots at the rim and he probably needs to make one or two of those.”

The decision making from the Tigers was another pointer Brownell emphasized on during his post game conference.

I just didn’t think we were as sharp, some of our passing a couple of decisions by our guards wasn’t as good.”
