Charley Hull has withdrawn from the Amundi Evian Championship at Evian-les-Bains in France after collapsing twice during the first round on Thursday. She was placed on a stretcher and taken from the course on a golf cart.

Hull, 29, has been suffering from a virus, according to the Golf Channel. On the third hole of her opening round, she was seen sitting down near a bunker to rest. After collapsing on the fourth hole when her legs buckled, Hull took a 15-minute medical break during which ice was applied to her face. She resumed play, but collapsed again following her tee shot.

After receiving medical treatment, Hull received assistance to leave the course. She was able to sit up and talk, but told paramedics that she was having trouble seeing, the Times of London reported.
