“Meanwhile, West Ham have been working on defensive reinforcements with talks ongoing over Slavia Prague wing-back El Hadji Malick Diouf, who was a target for Crystal Palace and Brighton last season.

“Girona centre back Arnau Martinez is another West Ham are discussing. The 22-year-old has a £12.8m release clause and can also play at right back.”
