MIAMI GARDENS — The Miami Dolphins are hosting the New England Patriots in their 2025 home opener at Hard Rock Stadium.
The Dolphins won’t have starting right tackle Austin Jackson (toe) or starting right guard James Daniels (pectoral), so Larry Borom and Kion Smith are in line.
Miami is already without cornerbacks Storm Duck (ankle), Kader Kohou (injured reserve, knee) and Artie Burns (injured reserve, knee).
Jaylen Waddle was limited early in the week with a shoulder injury but returned to full practice by Friday.
For the Patriots, standout cornerback Christian Gonzalez (hamstring) will miss this game. New England will also be without defensive coordinator Terrell Williams for personal reasons.
TE Darren Waller (hip): The Dolphins will lean again on Julian Hill and Tanner Conner
RB Jaylen Wright (knee): Will rookie Ollie Gordon II see more action in Week 2?
CB Ethan Bonner (hamstring): Cornell Armstrong was promoted to the 53-man roster.
QB Quinn Ewers (will serve as emergency third QB).
WR Tahj Washington: Dolphins will lean on Malik Washington, Dee Eskridge, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine.
DT Benito Jones (oblique): Will rookie Zeek Biggers see a lot of action today?
CB Stork Duck (ankle): Expected to miss weeks. Rasul Douglas and Jack Jones are Miami’s top corners.
