Green Bay Packers left tackle Rasheed Walker, who is slated to be an unrestricted agent this offseason, was arrested on a gun charge at LaGuardia Airport on Friday, according to the New York Post. Walker has been charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm.
Walker, who attempted to check a locked box containing an handgun and ammo, per the report, appeared in court and was released. His attorney is hopeful the case will be dismissed.

A seventh-round pick by the Packers in 2022, Walker appeared in 52 games, including 48 starts, over four seasons, becoming a mainstay at the team’s left tackle spot.
Given his experience and the way he performed at a premium position in 2024, Walker is potentially in line for a massive payday this offseason.
2025 was a crucial year for Walker as it marked the final year of his rookie contract and an opportunity to maximize his first big-time NFL contract. However, despite starting 16 games at left tackle for Green Bay this season, Walker took a step back in performance rather than playing to the standard he or the team hoped for.
According to Pro Football Focus, Walker allowed a team-high 34 pressures and five sacks.

Walker could still land a lucrative, multi-year deal this offseason. Spotrac projects Walker to receive a four-year deal worth nearly $81.5 million.
Walker is due back in court in New York on March 19, roughly a week after the start of the new league year.
