Race day in Mugello kicked off on Sunday with a strange sight.
The Mugello circuit is a stone’s throw from Florence, the home of the Italian Renaissance, and the constructors decided to pay tribute to local history.
A video published on Sunday morning showed MotoGP Championship leader Marquez and his team-mate Bagnaia modelling new suits and bikes.
“The Italian blend of art and ingenuity,” it said.
“It’s about two gentlemen who become two modern knights. Their armour. Their steeds. This is a tribute to centuries of Italian art and technology.”
Who is the favourite at GP Italy?
It has so far been a hugely successful weekend for the Ducati team.

Alex Marquez is 35 points further back in second place, while Bagnaia sits in third, but a distant 98 points from his team-mate.
The home crowd left no doubt about their feelings on Saturday though when some fans booed Marquez after his Sprint victory.
It was a moment that enraged Ducati team manager Davide Tardozzi, who pleaded with supporters to stop booing, point out that he was a part of the Ducati team.
